Travel time between Sharjah and Dubai will be reduced 🔜

The new RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) project promises revolutionary changes in the transport infrastructure of the Emirates! 🌟🚀 With its help, the travel time between the emirates will be reduced to just 12 minutes! 🕐💨

This magnificent solution is part of a large-scale initiative to improve the Garn Al Sabkha road, which connects the main transport arteries of Dubai.

What benefits will this project bring us? 🤔🚗

• The capacity of cars will increase to 17.6 thousand per hour! 🚦🚗
• The travel time between the main routes will be significantly reduced! 🕒🚀
• Now the journey to Sharjah will take only 12 minutes instead of the usual 20 minutes! 🚗💨
• And it will be possible to get to Jebel Ali in just 7 minutes instead of the current 21 minutes! 🚗🌟

But that’s not all! As part of the RTA project, it is planned to build four strategically located bridges to improve traffic and avoid traffic jams. 🌉🚗

The first bridge (960 meters long) will connect Garn Al Sabkha and Al Asayel streets, providing free movement of 8,000 cars per hour between Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. 🌉🚗

The second bridge (660 meters long) will improve traffic from Garn Al Sabkha Street in the western direction to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Street in the direction of Al Qusais and Sharjah, with a capacity of 3,200 cars per hour. 🌉🚗

The third bridge (700 meters long) will optimize the traffic flow from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Street to Al Yalayis Road leading to the port of Jebel Ali, also with a capacity of 3,200 cars per hour. 🌉🚗

The fourth bridge (680 meters long) will ensure smooth traffic and prevent traffic jams from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Street to the service road leading to Dubai Production City, with a capacity of 3,200 cars per hour. 🌉🚗
